Tier 1 vs Tier 2 - What's the difference?Tier 1 is more competitive. Skill range is generally rep BB and higher. Tier 2 is recreational, ranging from brand new to house League rep B skills.

How do I decide which Tier to play in?If you cannot decide between recreational or competitive, please use our chat feature for assistance!

Can I play in both Tiers?No. The only exception is if you are a goalie in one Tier and a skater is the other. This is only allowed if there is a vacancy which cannot be filled.

Is there an age requirement for this league?Yes. Members must be 18 or older to be insured with our carrier. There is no maximum age.

When & Where are the games?Sunday evenings at Rotary Place (West Orillia Sports Complex) For the 2024-2025 season, games will run between 5:45pm and 11:35pm. Game schedule is posted HERE

How are the games scheduled?Each Tier will play early games one week (5:45/6:45/7:45), then late games the next week (8:45/9:45/10:45), barring holidays or other interruptions in our schedule. Every effort is made to distribute game times equally among the teams. Each game is allotted 50 minutes of ice time.

How long is the season?For 2024/2025 the season will run from September 8th until March 30th. There will be 28 games in total throughout the season

Can I play on a team with more then one buddy?No. Buddy requests can only consider on a 1:1 basis. You and your buddy must elect each other on your registration forms. Additional requests will not be accommodated.

I need to drop out - Can I get a refund?As per our Rules & Regulations #9: REFUNDS: Players who withdraw from the league prior to August 15th will be refunded amount paid minus an administration fee (set by the Executive each season). Players who withdraw from the league between August 16th and December 31st may be entitled to a refund, at the discretion of the Executive and subject to the following conditions: i. written request for refund is submitted to the Executive. ii. replacement player is available. iii. jersey and socks have been returned in satisfactory condition. Refunds during this time period must be received in a timely manner and are to be based upon number of games scheduled from start of season to date of request, insurance (non-refundable to the league) and an administration fee. Refund requests will not be accepted as of January 1st.
